Helping Hands CD ROMS
Helping Hands CD ROMS are CURRENTLY FREE for a limited period.
They contain interesting video training programmes delivered personally by Dr Jeremy Leach and Sophie Hepworth plus a number of useful downloadable forms.
The Health and Safety includes video training on:
- Health and Safety Awareness - introducing workplace health and safety
- Risk Assessment - including an interactive exercise
The Food Safety CD* includes video training on:
- Food Hygiene Awareness - providing a useful induction session for new staff
- Public Perceptions of Food Hygiene - an interesting insight for management into how the public view food safety
*Please note: The Food Standards Agency has now produced the Food Safety Management System - SAFER FOOD BETTER BUSINESS (external link) which is specifically designed for Caterers and Retailers. This may be more appropriate than the documentation on the CD Rom for these businesses.
The documentation provided on the CD Rom is appropriate as a guide for food producers. The hygiene training and public perceptions are relevant to all.
