A Business Focus Group has been set up by Cllr Roy Galley (Planning & Development Portfolio Holder with responsibility also for Economic Development & Tourism) working on behalf of Wealden District Council and chaired by Cllr Nick Collinson. This will look specifically at ways that the Council can provide help to Wealden based businesses and to what extent the Council should minimise 'red tape' for businesses across the District. The intention of this survey was to ensure that Wealden businesses get the most from the Council in order to prosper and flourish, and that the results can help to formulate recommendations to WDC's Cabinet regarding future business support.
The survey is now closed and we will publish the results in due course.
