External Links, PDF Files & Headings

External Links

All external links will open up in the same window. This will assist people who use screen readers. To return to Wealden's website you will need to use the 'back' button on the browser.

PDF Files

On some of our web pages you will find links to PDF documents (Adobe Acrobat format). These files often contain large documents or provide extra information. If you do not have Adobe Reader installed on your computer, you will need to download it before you can view or print these documents. This software is available free of charge from External Link Adobe.

If you have difficulty viewing PDF documents, visit the External Link Adobe Accessibility web pages for further advice.

Adobe also provide an External Link online tool to convert PDF documents into HTML or text. This is helpful if you find that Adobe Reader isn't compatible with your assistive technology or if you prefer to view content as HTML or plain text.

Headings

The use of headings can aid navigation, choose a subject from the headings list, press enter and you will be taken to that heading. It should be noted that we have made use of many headings as links. Heading one being the title of the page, heading two are for the main sub headings on a page (main items of importance) and heading three are used for additional information.

Each page is logically split into several sections, each of these sections will begin with a heading so you can easily skip through the page.
